Swiss brand founded in 2016 in Lausanne by Claudio D'Amore, a Swiss designer of Italian descent and ECAL graduate who designed watches for Van Cleef & Arpels, TAG Heuer and Montblanc before launching Code41 as a "community brand" funded by over 300,000 members who take part in designing and financing its models. The brand claims full transparency on the origin of its components ("TTO – Total Transparency On Origin" label) rather than the "Swiss Made" label, publishing the detailed cost and provenance of each part rather than relying on a generic mention.
